Privacy notice
How this product handles data
Effective August 11, 2026
Scope
This notice describes data handling for the SaaS Pricing Decision Sprint sales pages, diagnostic, checkout handoff, founder intake, buyer workspace, and founding emails. It supplements the general Artisan Strategies Privacy Policy.
Information you provide
The diagnostic records answer categories and fit. If you request email follow-up, the email provider receives your email address plus source, decision type, and fit fields. Buyers provide name, work email, company, product URL, role, MRR range, relationship to Joe, decision type, decision description, deadline, available evidence categories, timezone, optional constraints, and optional permission to use anonymized patterns.
Do not submit customer names, personal customer data, credentials, raw exports, or confidential datasets. The intake is designed to record evidence categories, not the underlying data.
Payments
Stripe processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. Artisan Strategies receives transaction records needed to confirm payment, issue receipts or refunds, prevent fraud, and reconcile the founder intake. The site does not directly store complete card details.
Necessary storage
Necessary browser storage remembers buyer access, the buyer’s diagnostic decision context, and local course completion markers. Founder intake records are stored in the site’s managed database. When a qualified visitor chooses checkout, the site creates a random, non-sensitive checkout reference linked to diagnostic answer categories and available source/campaign parameters; Stripe returns that reference with the completed session so payment can be reconciled without treating an advertising pixel as proof of purchase. A personal buyer link contains a signed, non-guessable token; opening it re-checks that the Stripe order is live, paid, and not refunded before the site stores a derived access cookie.
Optional measurement
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel load only after you choose “Allow measurement”; the product’s first-party, non-PII funnel event log activates under the same choice. They may collect a first-party session identifier, visit and event information, approximate location, device or browser information, referring source, campaign, creative, diagnostic stage, and conversion events. The first-party log stores decision categories and campaign labels, not your email address or advertising identifiers. We use those signals to determine which messages reach qualified buyers and whether the funnel works. Choosing “Necessary only” keeps these measurement tools off; you can change the choice using the “Privacy choices” button.
Diagnostic follow-up and buyer operational messages are limited to the result, founding offer, purchase, intake, enrollment decision, access, delivery, and requested support. A Pricing Sprint signup does not by itself consent to the general Artisan newsletter. Marketing email includes the applicable unsubscribe mechanism.
How information is used
Information is used to qualify the offer, deliver the product, support buyers, issue refunds, protect access, measure acquisition with permission, improve the product, and maintain transaction or compliance records. Optional anonymized-learning permission is separate from access and does not authorize publication of the buyer’s identity, company, customers, or confidential figures.
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be processed by vendors used for hosting and storage, payments, email delivery, analytics, advertising measurement, and security. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or as part of a business transfer. Artisan Strategies does not sell a list of Pricing Sprint buyers.
Retention and choices
Records are retained only as reasonably needed for delivery, support, product validation, fraud prevention, and financial or legal obligations. You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of optional anonymized-learning permission. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate bookkeeping needs.
Security and international processing
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet system is perfectly secure. Service providers may process information in the United States or other jurisdictions under their own terms and safeguards.
